1. Format that Reels rewards
Shoot vertical 9:16 at 1080×1920. Keep clips between 7 and 30 seconds — Reels suppresses anything that feels recycled from TikTok with a watermark visible.
Put the job title as on-screen text in the first second. Add captions/subtitles for the whole video. End on a still frame with the disclaimer.
2. Caption rules
- Always include: 'Job information only • No fees • No visa services'.
- Never write 'DM for job' — Instagram treats it as off-platform solicitation.
- Don't put WhatsApp/Telegram numbers in the caption or bio.
- Use respectful, neutral language — no urgency tactics like 'last chance', 'hurry'.
3. Stories and bio
- Stories: avoid hiring polls that ask for payment or DMs. Use the Link sticker only for the employer's official site.
- Bio: a single line describing what you share + a disclaimer. No phone numbers.
- Highlights: keep a 'How to apply' highlight that points to the employer's official channel.
4. What suppresses reach
Meta's recommendation system quietly limits content that: uses copyrighted music, recycles TikTok watermarks, promises guarantees, or pushes users off-platform. You'll know it's happening when reach drops sharply across multiple posts.
Fix: post 3–5 original reels with in-app music, no off-platform links, and clear disclaimers. Reach usually recovers within 7–10 days.
5. If your account is restricted
Open the Account Status screen (Settings → Account → Account Status). It will tell you which post triggered the restriction and link to the appeal form.
Submit one appeal only. See the Ban Appeals page for the full template and process.
